Long time no write. Anyway . . .
Work has been the death of me as of late. One of the more monotonous parts of my job has been given to someone else; at least it is in the process of veing given to someone else which means I still have a bit of it to do. However, the new work D&E are starting to give me is seriously kicking my ass. Not to mention it's almost Chinese New Year, which I have been warned is a time full of insanity and mistakes on shipping documents from our agents overseas. Documents that I now verify and assemble (read: try to make sense of). Oh, joy.
In knitting news, I've learned how to fair-isle! Yay! I only have the thumb ribbing to do on my first mitt of
Endpaper Mitts. It doesn't look to shabby. In case you were wondering, I'm using Regia 4-ply in black and Fleece Artist Basic Merino Sock in Nova, a variegated yarn in what I would call berry shades, pinks, deep pinks (almost reds), etc. I picked them up at
Effiloché. I pick up a lot of stuff there, actually. The prices are comparable to Mouliné, but the selection is a little different. Oh, and they have a swift, and it is The Awesome.
