At this moment eating a PB&J sandwich. Yum!
I got back from my trip to Burlington Vermont, Montreal, and NYC. It was a good Trip filled with lots and lots of things.
I went out there because my brother had his "white coat" ceremony. At first I was not going to go because I could not afford a ticket. But my mother got me a ticket, and I am very happy that I went. My brother was so happy I was there. I am so proud of him. We got to hang out and talk. I cannot wait until he comes home for spring break.
Next up was Montreal. Crazy busy weekend running around from house to house seeing family. I am so glad I reconnected with them a few years ago. Had lots of fun. Lots of partying. Lots of snow.
Took the train to NYC on Tuesday. It took 11 hours, but was totally worth it. I got to see a part of the country that I had never seen before. It is beautiful. I loved to watch the architecture of homes change as I went south. I had never been on a train in the snow before. I did not know that when the train hit snowbanks you could feel it. You could feel the impact, it was scary the first time. Since I was in the first car behind the engine the snow would be kicked up and fly past the window like a white out. Sometimes chunks of snow like snowballs would hit the window. It was so cool.
Once in NY I did a lot of hanging out with wonderful friends. I stayed at my friends Erika and Mike's place. They have a cute pug named Herb. I got to spend lots of time with them. I got to hang out with my friend Austin as well. I only got to see Melanie once, she was super busy with work. I will just have to go back soon when she has more time. I got to spend time with Emily and Nick, we went to the museum of art and design. It was so fun. It snowed while I was there as well. It was so nice to walk around in it. It was not freezing like Montreal. But my flight home was delayed. Seeing people I miss just makes me miss them more, but it is totally worth it. Need to go back soon.
I am happy to be home in the rain.
Feeling more motivated to do my art.
Looking for a job... It is discouraging.
Trying to figure out what to do next.
