Update, and other gripes
Well. Detasseling started Tuesday the tenth. Not any different than last year except the people. xD Sonya and Peter (Two of my friends from last year) both got to be supervisors too. O: I really really hope I get a lot of money this year...instead of getting jipped again. But no, I'm going to get bloody jipped again. Saturday I really hope we don't have work, because that's the valleyfair trip, and I don't want to lose money to a bloody trip. It's bad enough I'm planning on skipping summer varieties. I'm sorry, but I am getting really sick of that Hairspray medley. D: Especially with the new movie remake coming out. I'll stick with the old one with Ricki Lake, thanks. And I also hope it gets done in like, a week or I get a leave or something for Bible Camp. D: I do want to go to bible camp again (and now i'm obligated to go because Mrs. Johnson already paid 220 bucks to get me in, it'd be terrible if I didn't go. ) but I'd be missing a week of detasseling, that's a week out of my goal. Which has me upset as is. I"m probably going to bloody make what I made last year, a whopping 240 dollars for school clothes/ school supplies. Wonderful. Hopefully I don't get another farmers tan...
In other news.
I recently found out that I do indeed like the Backstreet Boys better than *Nsync. I found this out by listening to various songs from either group. I liked more Backstreet Boys songs. >.> Not that I went out of my way to figure this out... I just felt nostalgic yesterday and decided to watch some old American boy band music videos. D:
I also realized earlier today that I'm not a big fan of change. I can face it, but I don't like it. D: I was looking outside my window at everything and realized that while I might not like a lot of what's changed to now, not accepting it only hurts me. xD Like the old G4, the old Disney, the old Nickelodeon, my life, the world in general. I like to see pictures from the middle-late nineties of random things, places, or people. Same with even a couple of years ago. I guess because I was really happy back then. But I guess I'll just have to suck it up.
Oh yeah, and another Fourth of July went by. I got lots of pictures, but I'm waiting to see if I lose my internet to edit them, so if I do, I can do that while I don't have internet as something to do. xD This Fourth of July wasn't exactly memorable. I got a neat puppet that Hillary bought me, she got an elephant that she named...uh...something with an s...I think XD I haven't named mine yet. ^^; Mines a panda. :3 I wuv my panda puppet.
