Help Japan!
Just throwing up a quick post about the epic fundraising that's being done here on LJ for relief efforts in the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami that devastated Japan, particularly help_japan.
For anyone interested, I've put up an offer in the auction to do my part, so if you'd like to bid for me to write something for you while donating to charity (this is a good thing! Go!), you can do so here. Keep in mind I'm not making any money off of this; this is donation-only to specific organizations. I don't get to see any money (this is a common state of affairs for me, lol) other than your receipt as proof that you've donated if you win. You can learn more at help_japan.
In fact, even if you have no affinity for my work whatsoever, you should still go check out help_japan, because it's for a good cause and chances are you'll at least find something you'll like (let's see how many times I can fit help_japan into this post). There's fic, and art, and AMVs, and even stuff that's not even fandom related! *gasp* It must be legit! I should be sleeping, because my optometrist dilated my eyes and they're really not happy staring at a computer screen right now, but I had to post this because it is important! That's how much this means to me. I am not sleeping.
