Alternate Reality, this an expert from my Crystal Light series which will uploaded this summer. However when I saw the Armor prompt I couldn't resist posting this scene. "Will you ever remove your armor for me?" Why was it Sasuke wondered, that Sakura always asked him philosophic questions at such stranger times
Uchiha Sasuke wondered what possessed his partner to ask him such a philosophic question now, especially considering the two of them were lying naked while catching their breath after reaching climax during their coupling, especially one as rough they just shared.
"Don't ask foolish questions."
"It's a hypothetical question." She answered calmly as the girl rolled over and looked up to the ceiling. Raising her left arm, Sasuke watched as Sakura began to create the crystalline figure of a rose in her hand. She had been doing that a lot lately. Using her Kekkei Genkai for such trivial, little things yet the reason behind it was strangely logical much like his pink haired partner. For the last two months Sakura had been practicing how to use her Shōton without hand seals. When the flower was completed the pinkette turned towards the Uchiha heir again. "So will you remove your armor for me one day?"
"Hn." He answered her non-committingly as he turned away from her and began tracing the circular patterns of the ceiling.
"Mou, that's not answer Sasuke-kun."
He ignored her next words and closed his eyes, submitting to the fact he could not keep sleep at bay any longer. It was hard to sleep in a broken country ruled by a cruel and reedy snake of a man. Suddenly he felt a warm, gentle assurance. His body felt warm, reminding him of the softness and gentleness of his mother back when he still was innocent… back when she was still alive. Underneath the bandages his wound inflicted by a sword began to mend itself. Sasuke felt Sakura's soft body leaning against his, and for a fleeting moment the two of them were together in their own private world where his desire for vengeance, never ceasing hatred, and lust for power didn't exist. He gave a deep breath and felt as if he had come up for air having escaped the drowning embrace of water, the sting of pain fading into gentle warmth.
He opened his eyes, tired yet strangely relieved. He stared as Sakura clung to him, his wounds healing under the gentle green glow of her palms. Sasuke felt a strange relief knowing that he had escaped his nightmares for a little longer. It was strange for him, for he wanted to hold her, take her in his arms until all his pain was gone.
His dreams were dyed with the color of blood. The world that could never go back to the way it was before… his fear of loneliness that he had never told her about and never would. Nor would she ever know how much he valued her companionship. Or that she had already broken through wall around his heart.
