The Prince and the bodyguard scars

It was the very first time for the Crown Prince to sulked and actually whine. He is barely six year old at that time, so its actually natural for a boy in his age to whine, however his awareness of the position he is in deter him for doing just that. But not today

Today he really could not stand it. Why, he ask himself, why can't he join his mother and father and the rest of his family every time they are having a celebration? New Year, Chuesok, every single celebration that the palace held in years he spent alone in the confinement of his room while this boy that he barely know, with crooked teeth and small face -and that small almond eyes- holding no emotion but silent, is being dressed with the attire a Crown Prince supposed to wear for those event(s). Is he replacing Jaejoong to attend the party? Why he need to be replace by other boy to attend a party? Is he being punished? Why don't they let boy replace him also when he need to study all the time?

Jaejoong pouted and sulked really hard that day. He have been constantly nagging his mother about this matter since he manage to learn about this special arrangement that only he, the Crown Prince, have to endure.

He couldnt help the jealously building up on his heart every time he watched the seemingly emotionless boy get escorted to his place. His rightfull place.

So he spent the entire time at that particular day in a constant bad tempered mood, knowing that others are busy preparing to celebrate another Chuseok party without him, again.

He have refused to eat, petuliantly pouting his lips, he doesnt want to listen to anybody trying to reason with him. His demand is only one. He want to go to the party too! Why he can't he join the party when his other sisters, brother, cousin and parents can?

So after spending the entire day fighting, almost screaming and almost, he stressed the word 'almost', crying for his demand, the King and Queen finally allow him to join the party.

After long hours of lecturing Jaejoong about the importance of never letting anyone know who he really is, finally they dressed him as one of the general son, free from any royal sign and quite frankly, Jaejoong didnt really care as his goal already accompalished. He got to go to the party!

Only in a split second, the peacefull dinner party become a chaos. An unknown man was holding the Crown Prince captive in his hand.

The small blade held tightly by the unknown man is tucked right under the young Crown Prince's chin. He is exclaiming something in a dialect Jaejoong could not quite catch.

The guards have rushed to protect the royal family and trying to retrieve the supposed Crown Prince however, the blade in his neck render them unable to.

The boy who Jaejoong never know his name of, look really calm. Too calm. His eyes betray nothing, he did not fight, not even whimpering in fear. As if he already know that this will happen to him. As if he have experiences this more than once.

And Jaejoong can see a splash of red.. as the blade penetrated the fragile skin of the young boy neck. Fresh blood flowing from the body before his vision is clouded with the sleeve of his sister clothes covering his eyes.

The boy is wearing the clothes that he supposed to wear today. And now the clothes is covered in red, blood, seeping out from its wearer skin.

The clothes, was rightfully his.

a/n: I hope I have stressed enough that YunHo in this story have scars which render him in need to cover in with a veil.
If anybody could actually have an idea who the nameless boy in this chapter and the importance of this chapter to the story I am forever gratefull ^__^'
