Upcoming movies!

Oh my, there are a lot of things coming up I want to see.

Zombieland: SAW IT! :D Funny and awesome.

Where The Wild Things Are: OUT- I read it as a kid, so I'd like to see what they did with it.

A Christmas Carol: 11/6- Yeah, I want to see it. Looks far more intriguing than Polar Express, and I like Jim Carrey. I'm curious to see if they've actually advanced motion capture to the point where it's.... you know.... useful. I still think this would have been ten times cooler with prosthetics, but, we'll see.

The Fourth Kind: 11/6- Looks scary as hell.

Fantastic Mr. Fox: 11/25- Not because of the animals, but it looks kind of interesting and cute. I adored the book as a kid, though it looks very different.

The Princess and the Frog: 12/11- I don't need to explain this one. I've watched every trailer, promo, and featurette, and seen every piece of concept art I could find. Will be going to an advanced screening thanks to thatbadgerguy and I'm bouncing off the walls in anticipation, though I'm sure I'll be seeing it multiple times. :)

Sherlock Holmes: 12/25- This one looks cool! I think it'll be very entertaining and I know there's a lot of buzz about it.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus: 12/25- I only recently saw a trailer for this but it looks kind of neat. Plus, Johnny Depp and Heath Ledger.

The Wolfman: 2/12- WEREWOLF MOVIE! 'Nuff said.

Shutter Island: 2/19- SO excited for this, and right up my alley. I've watched the trailer several times for this one, can't wait.

Alice in Wonderland: 3/5- I'm not a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland as a story, but it's a Tim Burton film and I generally like everything he does. It looks pretty interesting.

How to Train Your Dragon: 3/26- I know very little about this film other than that Chris Sanders is directing, and as far as I know it's the first thing he's worked on since he got kicked off of American Dog. Also, Dreamworks has won my affections after Kung Fu Panda.

Only thing after that for a long while is Toy Story 3. But boy, what a lineup of stuff through the beginning of next year! There hasn't been this many movies out around the same time that I've wanted to see for ages. I hope this is a good sign for the film/ animation/ television industries, there's actually some things coming out that don't look like garbage.

Who wants to go see some movies with me?! :D
