That is why I wont go near a GameStop. If I were to walk into one I might as well just bend over and spread 'em... b/c that's what happens there.

Actually... if its a new game and I know I won't be able to get it anywhere else, then I will preorder it there: same price as anywhere else that way.

BUT I've never been one to sell my old games anyways. I still have all of the games from my PS1 up.

I'm also the geek that bought MGS4 even though I still don't own a PS3... figure that out =P

But... to thier defense:

The markup on new games sucks... Consoles and games are sold at near-cost. The money is made on the accessories and (in gamestop's case) used game resale.

Oh yeah, that I know. It's just that they kind of have some balls only giving $5 discounts on newer used titles. Customers get pissed at me all the time because they go to trade in their games and see what we're giving them vs. what we're charging. Then again, there are a lot of idiot customers who come in and expect to get full price for their Madden 2003.

Don't even get me started on our "discount." :P
