How to deal

There's no problem so bad that a couple hours of surfing can't fix. Remember that.

Felt better after writing all that out in the last entry, and going surfing.

Called Kevin when I got home. Decided that I should at least say something, cause he probably had no clue.

He didn't. No idea that we were upset, but once I told him, he saw things from our perspective and apologized. He assured me that nothing inappropriate happened with Tara, but he admitted to being swept up by the infatuation he had with her. Still, he now recognized that his behavior was bad for a guest.

He also said that while he did call her at first, she would call him during the week to hang out. So it was mutual.

He did admit to not being entirely truthful with who he hung out with, I could only assume that he was referring to the dinner.

I asked him why he got a hotel, and he said that he wanted to do the Waikiki experience for just one night.

Somehow I believe that.

In any case, he apologized to me and Kat. I don't know if it will do any good in the long run for him, whether he'll learn from his mistakes, but at least I got it all off my chest. And now we can put this behind us.
