Just to share.

My roommate's a psychopath and I apparently have a free love commune living opposite my room.

That said. I'm a real Memphis Citizen now. I just got back from 201 Poplar.

I didn't get to go into an interrogation room, they took my statement in the economic crime room, which was big and dark and empty and filled with lots of desks like they have on SVU. There was no Mariska Hargitay though (drat). And I was up in the Memphis SVU for a few minutes while they decided where I was going to go.

But like, for real, it was kinda more sombering. You know, bringing out blood and blades kicks things up a notch, and I mean, really, my heroic sense overtook my common sense. I really had no business trying to separate them from a selfish standpoint. What if I had been stabbed D:. Plus like, I was right behind her when she slashed him.

Plus like :S the upstairs of 201 is kinda intimidating. Like it's all so real. There are these signs like

Homicide---}
{----Rape

(LJ spasms if I use the carrots for arrows). It's like, it's a lot more real, you know.

That being said, on some level, I had a great story for my coffee/lunch/tea/midafternoon banana break. I was pretty much the star of the show today in my department.

But it's not something I'm looking to repeat.

I mean, I guess it wasn't much different than surgery, but you know, the adrenaline was?
