Who the hell is Mamoru-kun?!
I've seen pics of this character around and didn't have a clue who he is.

Well, mystery solved. :)
Turns out that he was the main character for the unmade "Tail Concerto II" video game and re-used as a mascot for Fukuoka Prefecture's disaster-warning email program of the same name in Japan.

And in case you forget what "Tail Concerto" was, it's a PSX video game. =3
And this forms the concept of the "Little Tail Bronx" world.
