That a significant portion of this chapter was written with The Hazards of Love stuck in my head probably says something about the content. In fact, there should probably be a WARNING: this chapter conceived under copious influence of The Decemberists.

He wants to grow up now more than ever, and that's saying something. Puel put it really well when she finished reading this: when England loves, he loves.

Oh wow, I just... as usual you've left me utterly speechless. I love it.
Probably will return with a more sensible response later.
For now, ajajashj`kgshukielzu!

And all Albion can think as they bow, with distance across the stone floor and in their black eyes, was that they could have been his friends if they never knew.
cry cry cry cry cry
I knew this would be an amazing installation when I saw that author's note, I've had that album in my head all week. Listening to it while reading this probably did not help with the crying.

And Cymry, that was devious. That was a horribly devious thing to do /shakes fist
Have to take a moment here to say I love how you write the fae, they're not sparkly little dancing people like Tinkerbell at all. Mischevious and cruel in their mischief, I can definately believe these are the fae who like to steal children and swap them for their own for amusment, or trick mortals to drowning and the like.
And of course Albion is as adorable and hug-worthy as ever. He doesn't get a break! Someone give him a break!

And yeah, Cymry. Devious thing, yes. I'll go into that more when next they see each other, but he had his reasons too. :sigh: Mean big brothers.
And yeah, the fae. Nasty things. I do love them so, and putting them in such a dastardly light is just plain fun all around.

Loving this SO hard right now. Agh, Albion, why so cute. And Albion and Wart's loyalty and love for each other, eeeee.
they could have been his friends if they never knew
*sob* Oh, Orkney brothers.
Anyway, this is where.
Is that sentence supposed to be like that, or are there missing words floating out in limbo?
On my way back from Anna-Morgause’s rooms.
...hey there mordred.
“If I have to grow up,” Wart whispers, “let it be for you.”
BRB, bawwwww-ing now.
Brilliant move with the sword at the end there. (not to mention kind of gruesome, but it's a really memorable image, everyone kneeling)
<3 <3 Here, have some more squee.

I've been waiting to shove that sword into stone for a while, and I knew it was going to be Germania's blade. And yeah, Little Orkneys. Their intensely complicated relationship with England is all kinds of wonderful to think about. I mean, they love THEIR land, but they serve ARTHUR'S, and yeah. Always at odds. They're my kind of ambiguous.
