...I can't breathe. Seriously. I got chills from the battle, and this has just taken my breath away and and:

“If you haven’t, let him try,” Wart neither pleads nor commands. “Or let me try by him. I want to be-for you,” he says, to Albion, to Albion first, “for you both-”

“I don’t want you to rule by strength,” Emrys says, urgent at last. “Look at your Nation. He does not want a brute.”

“He does not want a lover either.”

Whoosh goes my breath. Whooosh. Suckerpunched out.

Also: The burial site for Albion's mother: HELL YES. ♥

And the last scene was just. Oh.

There were so many things I liked, such as how you described Albion's experience of the war, his perceptions stretched over the two armies, and Wart's fear that he'd die because his father was fighting to preserve a different nation. I really can't wait to see how other bits and pieces of the Arthurian legend are going to fit into this story.

Thank you so much~

I can't wait to get them to Tintagel. It was going to be in this part but then that end kind of snuck up on me and I thought, it can wait. King Marke has to he a part of this tale too, stat.

I am such an opera floozy.

MAMA GAUL IS CREEPY, and so is her devil of a son. But neither of them seems to notice.

Thank you for staying up and reading~

I do not think I have enjoyed an Arthur-mythos story quite this much since the original Arthur King of Time and Space, and this just keeps getting BETTER. <3 ( ... )

Ah, I noticed! And I have friended you back!

The story is going to go all the way through Wart's life. I think I can condense it to five parts--or, well, I hope I can. The structure lends itself as such.

I loved writing Rome's limericks! I can just picture him strumming on his ukulele surrounded by his women, drifting in a boat and singing away...

I'm not even... sure what to say, really. This is so much your story, and as ever I'm impressed by how well it fits together, and how much you bring in while still managing to make it all feel like it's necessary to be there. And of course I love all the myths you've threaded into this. And Wart. ♥

My favorite bit:

Albion’s just as uncertain. “I like kissing you,” he says, and it’s true, so he makes it sound as true as he can. “And I like that you want me, even like that, but-”

“But you’re a Nation,” Wart finishes for him.

He’s wrong. “No. I’m a child.”

Wart blinks. “And I’m not?”

So many parts of this section broke my heart to write, and that was one of them POOR ALBION. He just wishes you could both be children forever...
