You already know how I feel about this one (several thousand different kinds of love), but to reiterate: LOVE.

I love the teasing in this, and how it's layered -- the riddles themselves (and their significance in relation to the canon, of course; the last riddle Subaru offers Seishirou is particularly notable in that regard), the sexual innuendo, the fact of Seishirou himself. I love how Subaru's clothing articulates his embarrassment. I love the red, and the uncertainty of light, and the uncertainty in general. It's wonderful.

And yes, the Irony Cudgel's getting one hell of a workout.

Love this, and you. <3

The love, of course, is entirely mutual. ::hugs:: I loved WRITING it, constructing it, researching it. You know that. And it is wonderful to be so thoroughly grokked.

Haha Subaru was cute in this. You really captured his voice well.

And what's the answer to the last riddle?

鎌 kama (sickle) and 釜 kama (kettle). Kettle-kama is also okama no kama.

And thanks so much! He really is fun to write when he's more blush than angst. Or a different kind of fun, really.

Oh, unintentional (and then intentional!) innuendos. And puns. How I love grammar jokes. :P

Adorable and hot.

...like he assumed Subaru meant ‘yes’ with that ‘no.’

This whole thing was such an unspeakable pleasure to read.
