Am I alone in thinking that the refrain from Florence Quits in the first act, reprised in The Deal [No Deal] in the second act, is actually the single best piece of music in Chess? I mean, don't misunderstand me, the entire musical is audio gold, but that particular refrain seems so powerful, yet so underused.

You know it's on tour atm, right? It's hitting The Mayflower in Southampton in a couple of weeks. I'm hoping to go see it, if I'm lucky! ^_^

Dude yes ^_^ I'm utterly in love with it. It's along the same lines as CSI: NY- it's a bit silly and cheesy, but the actors are having a great time and work well with each other.

It's the silly and cheese that I like about it - it's definitely carried by the character interactions more than the story writing, but I still enjoy it seven years on. And it's set in the JAG storyverse, which is kinda cool.

*nod* I agree wholeheartedly- it's pretty average for plotline, but the interaction between the characters makes it fantabulous ^_^

On to Who now- Kathy's never seen it yet. Good ol' America!

There is nothing wrong with New Who :p

And, for now it's New Who; I lose her tomorrow (*sadface*) so I'm introducing her to the latest series. The first one so far- I wanted her to meet Doctor Nine (and Captain Jack, o' course)

I'll let you have "There is nothing wrong with New Who so long as RTD isn't scripting the episode" ;) And sorry to hear she's going home, hun - sounds like you've had a great time :)
