The Austrians I've been living with leave Sept. 2, and I thought it would be nice to go back before they leave to see them off, so to speak. And, if I did stay later, I'd probably feel guilty for not attending my extended family's Labor Day party on that Sunday.
So, I made sure I was home for the family gatherings this weekend and to see my siblings (not to mention niece and nephews), but then I go back to Ethiopia the end of August (28th or 29th, I forget). And I am going to Otakon here in Baltimore at the end of July.
But yes, part of me is *sorely* tempted to stay long enough to go to Dragon*Con and see lots of ALEP folks again. [How hard would it be to switch the date on my plane ticket?...] That would be...soooo, so nice. :( Especially since the new school year won't start til Sept. 12th (or thereabouts).
Of course, I'm not supposed to be working my way through my savings while I'm home on this break, either, so...maybe I shouldn't be tempting myself to go to Atlanta, either...
