So, as I was driving to work yesterday, a teenager in a purple truck turned left in front of me at Sandy Plains and Wigley. I was going 55 when I saw him, and maybe 50 when I hit him. I had enough time to swerve about 5 feet to my right and hit the brake. My air bag deployed, my front end is fucked, and the car is totaled. Of course, I'm sure his is, too, as I snapped his front axle. Stupid East Cobb teenagers. My window shattered and the safety glass (I'm so glad it was safety instead of regular) cut my arm up pretty good, and the steering wheel rubbed a very nice raw spot on my wrist. I've got a large bruise across my collar bone from the seat belt (wonderful invention). I wish I had simply hit the brake and kept going forward. I'd still be sore and beat up, but I wouldn't be cut up. I would've slammed into the passenger side or bed of the truck and taken it off. My car would still be totaled, my neck would still hurt, but it would've been nice to say "Yeah, some asshole totaled my car. But I ripped his car in half" I'm okay, and I'll probably be driving the wagon again. We're gonna get a new car for my dad (a new car for me would be cheaper, though), my bro will get the truck back, and I'll get the wagon back after almost 4 years.
