Writing Process Essay
Thought I'd mention I've got a little writing process essay up at superhero_muses , talking about the steps of writing "The Missing Moon." I wanted to analyze the process with something short (since the explanation often takes more words than the fic), and something recent, so I went with that. It was an interesting exercise in part because I'd never looked back at the process of writing a story from the conception to the last lines and tried to explain it!
It's a pretty short essay--about 1300 words--with digressions into homesickness, culture shock, and the power of scent. :)
