Harvey Dent, already in his makeup (he was going with purple today, with a contact lens turning his left eye a lurid yellow) shrugged.

Harvey, yay!

"My hero," swooned Conner, and Tim stopped fretting over his footwear long enough to sock him in the arm.

*hearts them both*

"Hah!" Big Barda gloated as a triumphant Copperhead draped his python on Billy Batson’s chest. Batson was supposed to be unconscious, but Clark could see his eyelids flickering uneasily as the snake coiled up on his chest. "That's for Max Lord and all of the JLI, backstabber."

Eeee, Barda! :D

“You’re all wrong about the Kryptonian!” Conner yelled back, shoving him into the ropes. “And even if I did have a psychopath for a father, I’d still be able to make my own choices, and I’d choose good!” He hurled himself forward, kicking Two-Face down and then getting him into an armlock. “Unlike you!”

Ahhh, it's so cool to see Harvey and Conner in a match together!

“You,” Two-Face snarled at the Dark Knight, pointing at him. “You’d better hope I never meet you one on ( ... )

It was really fun to write! And getting Harvey a little more screen time is wonderful...

How much fun are they having? *grins*

Soooo much fun! They've missed it so much--and missed being in the ring together even more!

Eeee, it made me giggle a lot at how Bruce has suddenly found himself with a small army of followers... And Clark not helping at all, hee!

I know, he doesn't know quite what to do with them--or himself! I'm writing his first class right now and it's making me laugh and sigh so much. Bruce.

“Oh, I’m not done here,” growled Two-Face, and slammed the Metropolis Kid down on the mat again. Conner landed with all his limbs gone loose, his mouth lolling open, unresponsive to even the shrieks of the crowd as Two-Face scooped him up once more.
Poor Conner.

Brucie dusted off a lapel and beamed at Clark. “I remember you! Didn’t you use to wear overalls?”
Clark bit his lip and managed to continue with a straight face: “Yes, I did. I went back to journalism school and--”
“I miss the overalls,” Brucie sighed. “That suit doesn’t flatter you at all.”
Nice :)

The banter was as familiar as a comfortable pair of shoes (or, Clark supposed, overalls)--they hadn’t even practiced this promo. They hadn’t needed to.
<33

“You shouldn’t be hanging out with that Dark Knight character. He’s a bad influence on today’s youth, I tell you. What is this world coming to? Tsk tsk,” he concluded, articulating the sound absurdly.
Yeah, sure :))

“Maybe I missed your handsome face, did you ever consider that?”
:LOL

Bruce blinked again--less theatrically ( ... )

Poor Conner.

He needs a mentor, don't you think? ^-^ He won't be in the bat-class because he's...not sure he's up to dealing with Bruce, to be honest!

And YAY for Bruce going to train the younger wrestlers. Loved the ending. The kids were awesome! :)

He's...a little uneasy about becoming a teacher and mentor! He's not sure he'll be good at it at all (but you know he will be! He's meant to be a teacher!)

"You'll do great," said Dick. He was lounging in a chair in full Dark Knight gear, somehow languid and alert at once.

*giggles*

This is a perfect description of Dick! :)

Clark and Bruce bantering is definitely a highlight. And the formation of the Bat-Family? Hilarious! ;)

Dick playing the Dark Knight with a totally different style than Bruce is wonderful, isn't it? It's SO Dick...

Writing the Bat-family coming together has been such a joy in this series! I didn't expect it! :)

Hi! Long-time lurker here.

Thank you so much for doing this series; it is hilarious and oddly endearing. I love the way you have translated the characters into a whole different venue, it works beautifully. I am impressed with how much story you convey for each character, given how many there are, and that it still all balances out. Awesome job!

What a very sweet comment, thank you! This is kind of a crazy and self-indulgent story for me in some ways, so I'm always happy to hear it's hitting other people well. :D (So...many...characters...was not expecting...how hard that would be...) ^-^
