EL DRAGON!!! AND HIS SPEECH PATTERN!!!! :D :D :D
“Hey,” said Billy. He’d gone a bit pale. “I don’t like snakes, man.”
“Oh good,” said Copperhead with a grin. “That’ll make it easier for you to fake terror, right?”
*snorts*
“Yeah, fans love traitors,” someone mumbled quietly in the back--it might have been Scott Free.
Yay, Scott! I'm glad he's still around!
Harvey Dent tilted his chair back and looked thoughtfully at the ceiling. “Pamela and I have been talking about pitching an angle where we date for a while, but she betrays me to run off with Harley. If I were champion, she’d have a lot more reason to pretend to be interested in me.”Harvey, yay! Also, I'm sure that ( ... )

He is so fun to write! I got a lot of pleasure out of writing him! :)
Harvey, yay! Also, I'm sure that storyline would be a LOT of fun!
Semi-canon in the animated series! ^-^ Oooh, that reminds me that I have to mention that Harley and Pam are getting along again...
Hee! That did make me giggle!
Ha! I am so glad you liked that transition, because it made me giggle to write it!
Oh my, Bruce glaring at a chihuahua! :D
The chihuahua was not at all intimidated. *grin*
Bruce and Clark kissing in public! *swoons a bit* Them going more public is definitely a theme that will have to keep cropping up...

Interesting pitches. I do like El Dragon's pitch, especially about the literacy, and Conner's story was hilarious with Lex's reaction. "Uh, no offense." "None taken." *snickers*
Dick's right about the belt and him being champion. He's got great instincts! :)
I like Clark's moment of human pettiness as he gloated over Billy's humiliation. Considering the monumental backstab, I say gloat away! :)
I like Clark wanting to just show up as Superman but Bruce is right. They do need to make it memorable. And I'm glad they talked out what to say if someone should ask whether they're a couple or not.
Kissing in public! Why, Brucie! ;)

He does, he so does!

Jussssst a little in private is okay, I think!
And yeah, I've been grappling (ha ha) with the question of their coming-out to their co-workers and in public! It's going to probably be gradual, but it has to happen, I think...

“You just don’t have the experience or--” Luthor stopped short as Conner’s words registered. “What?”
:LOL
“That just leaves me,” said Dick Grayson. “And I’ve got the best argument here and you know it.”
“Oh? Do tell,” drawled Luthor, sitting back and steepling his fingers.
:D
Dick held up a hand. “I’m not finished. There’s more. Bruce is coming back soon, it makes no sense for me to hold the cowl much longer. If I take it off after losing in the tournament, it tarnishes the legacy and you know it. And it makes me look weak, like I gave it up out of disappointment rather than of my own free will. Or worse, like Bruce made me give it up. That’ll hurt both Nightwing and the Dark Knight. You need me to win this tournament in order to get Bruce’s return as over as possible and tell a story that’ll stay in peoples’ minds forever.”
Well said.
“It’ll be great,” said Clark.
No doubt about it. :)
Bruce glared at a passing chihuahua, which gave him a goggle-eyed look back. ( ... )

And yes, the memories of having Bruce be hurt are going to haunt Clark, I think. He won't take their relationship for granted at all! Not that he ever REALLY did, but you know...
