Ha, ha, what an evil cliffie! :)

Diana against Bane? Inspired!

Nice speech by Milton about Clark's inspiration. :)

Well, Tim, you tried.

Naturally Bruce's downfall would come in Gotham and in Alfred's presence. *sighs*

Ha, Bane never taking his mask off outside his country and Bruce as Matches Malone was priceless! :)

Poor Clark! He needs to be a face like he needs air. Damn Luthor! But Dick's pronouncement was just perfect! :)

Of course. Of course! *sighs with you*

And you caught Matches, yay! :) I was imagining their "incognito" looks and started laughing, because Bruce.

Clark will be a babyface soon! It may be a rough transition but he'll get there!

*flails* NO! Don't leave it there! What happened?! I loved Clark analyzing all the little things while he was 'interviewing' Bruce, worrying about him, but unable to show it. And Dick knowing Bruce as well as Clark! Yay!

Sometimes they just punched each other in the mouth.

MEN! *snort* Though I really like how they've come up with all these coded ways to remind each other how they feel.

*on edge of seat* WHAT HAPPENED?

Ugh, I am SUCH a sucker for characters being worried but unable to express it for whatever reason, and the kayfabe/macho aspects of wrestling really give me a lot of opportunities for that! As well as all the faux-violent affection, lol...

I'm busily writing the next chapter, though it's a tough one! *crosses fingers*

I...I need to know what happened too! It's one of those things where I'm pretty sure, but until I get it all written, I don't definitely know, which has made it hard to go forward! But I will get it done soon, I'm sure! (Thank you for being patient with me!)

Oh man, yessss. Does Maffew have a frenemy that can be Bat-Mite? :)

...Spoony, perhaps? Though if you've ever seen any of Wrestle! Wrestle!, you'll know he's not as easily satisfied as Bat-Mite...

One thing I've noted with the IWC; with the exception of a few really determined trolls, it seems that life-threatening or potentially career-ending injuries *do* see the snark turned off immediately and people genuinely expressing sympathy. Heck, people even expressed sympathy for *Sid* for a couple of weeks after he broke his leg on WCW PPV...

That's a really good point--unlike, well, non-pre-determined sports, where an injury might actually help your team, I think everyone knows at a certain level that your least favorite wrestler getting hurt isn't going to help anyone at all, so it strips the rivalry away pretty fast...

Oh, oh! *wibbles* The image of Clark sitting alone just watching and re-watching the match over and over again...

And Bruce! Bruce... *pets him gently* Oh gosh, it's really painful to see, knowing what's going to happen... But I'm so glad it could, maybe, start Clark going back to being a good guy... But argh, Bruce! And everyone so worried about him and-! *wibbles again* And Alfred, oh-! *rushes around petting everyone*

I really can't wait to see what happens next, eeeek! *bites nails*

(Tiny comment due to busyness!)

Gahhh, I really meant it to frame the match itself, but having it frame the setup seems even worse somehow! And Alfred being there just feels like the final straw somehow--he was finally going to meet Clark and NOOOO. *sniffles a lot*
