Oh, boys! *flails* Of course Bruce would take the lack of interest in Jason as a personal affront and take it hard. *smishes him* I liked the 'interview' between Clark and Brucie. That was fantastic. Especially Brucie's outrageous flirting and Clark nearly breaking character. Haha. That ladder match was fantastic, especially with the twist ending. Bravo!

Oh, Bruce feeling bad that Jason isn't popular kind of kills me to write! He wants Jason to succeed so badly... And Bruce using an excuse to flirt with Clark, eee! Silly Bruce, poor Clark could hardly take it. :) I'm so glad you're enjoying!

What a fun chapter! I enjoyed the Nightwing/Speedy match very much and loved seeing all the Titans. Heh on Donna's constant rebooting origin. ;) The GL stuff was fun, too, and I bet Lex had to admit to Dick that he was going to keep the ladder bit. The Clark/Brucie flirting was a hoot! :)

Aw, poor Jason in the clearance bin! Well, it's a truism that you never want to be the guy replacing the popular guy first. You want to be the second guy. The first guy gets all the hostility and resentment.

Methinks Bruce has watched too much Toy Story! ;)

I love the image of all the Robins cavorting on the mantelpiece while the Kryptonian and the Dark Knight protect and watch over them. :)

It's very Clark to find shopping for mundane things to be fun as long as it's with Bruce. :)

P.S. Dick is a master manipulator. ;)

You absolutely know he did! The Titans are going to be tearing things up, that's for sure... :) And yes, even Lex is not immune to the power of Dick Grayson's puppy dog eyes!

I'm glad he was fictional and didn't know how many people cordially disliked him as the second Robin, oh dear. There's just always going to be a lot of pushback for someone replacing a really popular actor (which is what they are here, basically...)

Oooh, this comment just helped me realize a scene/moment I have to include pretty soon! Thank you! Because yes, he treasures that kind of mundaneness and the feeling of just being a "normal" couple a

Glad to help! :)

I did enjoy your highlighting of the Dick/Roy friendship and bringing Lian into the story. And it's nice to see Jade and Roy as friendly exes who can raise their child without drama (leave that for the ring!).

The hitting Dick with a dead (stuffed) cat idea just made me laugh. That might have been one of the worst story arcs DC ever came up, and with their record, that's saying something!

Hehehe, thank you for the extra (and extra-) enthusiastic comment! I'm so glad you like Otis, because he fills my heart with glee. Are you reading Bryan Q. Miller's Smallville series? I am loving him there so much...

Ah, there you are! *cheers* I never freak out when someone skips a chapter because I always figure life can sometimes make it impossible to comment on something that's pretty dense, but I'm still tickled to see you!

Now that I'm done with 34...

Dick rolled his eyes. "I already talked to Marv about it, he says we can use that drug-addiction angle from a while ago. Have him be hallucinating and try to beat me up with a dead cat or something."
And once that airs, IWC personality and regular TGWTG wrestling reviewer Linkara goes ballistic... ;)

Luthor raised an eyebrow. "A stuffed cat, obviously. Hey, it's no crazier than some of the stuff you've got going on right now. I mean, what, Donna is a time-travelling teen Wonder Woman? That's pretty out there."

"We'll get Troy's origins figured out soon," Luthor snapped.Suuuuure you will, Lex. Suuuuuure. Lemme know when you manage that ( ... )

I suspect they actually cut a promo along those lines, with Speedy in an alleyway, flailing away at Dick with an obviously stuffed cat, and it became completely infamous. :)

When I first got back into DC fandom as an adult, I was curious about Donna and went and did some research on her and just laughed and laughed. There is literally no origin story that could be weirder or more impossible to make sense of, because it breaks the fourth wall! There is no fixing it, and I love it...

Alarm bells went off in my head the instant I saw Dick say that his idea for the angle would be fantastic. As someone who was watching Smackdown when Rey and Eddy were feuding, I just *groaned* when Lian showed up. *desperate snickering* When I told my husband I was going to use that, he groaned as well! It is...not an example of stellar storytelling, but Dick and Roy manage to ( ... )

I think you did a fine job of turning the custody angle into one that wouldn't make people cringe TOO much while watching at home. After all, the idea that Roy had already signed an "open" custody contract over, combined with the drug addiction making him (in kayfabe) a demonstrably unfit parent makes it a HELL of a lot more plausible than what Nipple H (TM RD Reynolds and Wrestlecrap) and the Writer Monkeys came up with...

(And I still love the idea of Linkara reviewing wrestling in this universe. "This angle sucks!")

It is AMAZING to watch "Stunning" Steve Austin and be just barely able to see anything of Stone Cold in him! Poor Jason is probably going to be "future endeavored" soon, poor kid, but I do think he'll be back someday (and in this world, Joker might think it was hilariously cool to give the gimmick he screwed up to Jason!)

Now THAT gives me a nifty idea I'll PM over... ;)
