"Stop doing that, man. You're freaking me out," he muttered, and hastily made himself scarce.

Ollie! Oh, is Dinah here, somewhere, too? (Or have I missed her?)

"Why do I even try with this guy, I ask you," said Harvey, slapping Bruce lightly on the back.

Ahhh, I love that Harvey and Bruce can be friends in this verse, yay!

Clark threw the paper down on the table with an "ah-ha!" expression on his face. "Luthor's just fooling with you all! I know there ain't no Sanity Clause." He nodded sagely at the dumbfounded Harvey and explained in a loud stage-whisper, "My Pa was the one left all those presents under the tree every year!"

*groans* Oh, but that brings to mind something I've been wondering for a while! Is this all televised? If so, do the Kent's watch?

"If I were trying to take over your company, Luthor, I wouldn't be content with only twenty-five percent."

*giggles*

"We need to get practicing," said Bruce. Clark looked over; his eyes were dreamy and fixed off in the distance. "You haven't done that hurricanrana with anyone since our angle ended and I'm betting you've gotten rusty."

"Rusty? Me?" Clark punched his shoulder. "Country Clark never gets ring rust. Now, your cobra clutch slam, that probably needs some work."

"Ah Clark," said Bruce with a fond sigh, "You're the best enemy a man could ever ask for."

Ooooh! I can't wait to see them fighting against each other again...

This was a fun chapter, I'm looking forward to the next! :)

You know, I don't think Dinah is here yet--and she totally should be (and Zatanna!) because I'm a bit low on female characters. Oh, now I'm imagining how Zatanna's gimmick would be talking backwards, that would be really hard for the wrestler, lol!

Harvey and Bruce as friends is just...oh, so much fun to write! They don't quite "get" each other, but they respect and are affectionate with each other, and it's just so happy-making for me.

Ooooh! I can't wait to see them fighting against each other again...

Sadly, we aren't going to get a whole lot, because Bad Things are About to Happen... *looks sad* Whyyy am I hitting the really sad portions of both of my long series at the same time, Star? This is not good timing!
