I'd like to think nothing horrible will happen to the Graysons, but I'm sure that's my optimism at work! :x

I'm...I'm afraid so! It's an origin story that's not going to change, sadly--too much of the plot hinges on it. At least Dick is older, so had a lot more time with them in this world?

My exact thought was "oh god she's going to Owen Hart them!" D:

As heartwrenching as I'm sure that will be, I'm really looking forward to how you'll handle it!

T_T I hate to admit it, but that parallel was one of the starting points of this whole AU, it just worked way too well (and I just do not know how I'm going to write it, as it's so fraught not only for the characters, but with that real death hanging over the story). I'm hoping I can do it justice! *crosses fingers*

*"Anyway, I don't get much time to spend with my--well, my foster-father, the man who raised me," he said. "It was good to see him again."*

Foster father! D'awwwwwwwwww and YAY!

The Flying Graysons and Dick were awesome. I wondered how you were going to fit them into this verse but they do work well as an old wresling family and little Dick as their valet. "Boy Hostage", poor Dick, but at least it can be said he's paying his dues.

I like how you have Bruce and Dick hit it off and connected via their craft (I like to think that technic-wise they learned a lot from each other, Bruce taught Dick of course but I think Dick would also have shown Bruce some new moves)When the inevitable happens (not that I particularily want it to happen) they'll have a foundation.

And the boys are getting cuter and cuter. Now that they are no longer feuding, are they more relaxed about being seen together? Or are they using the end of their last match as an explanation for a budding friendship? That would be awesome

It's cheating a bit to have Bruce and Dick connect Before, but OTOH it makes their connection more plausible in a world where he can't exactly just swoop in and collect him up, you know?

Country Clark and Brucie are going to be able to get along a little while longer! Wrestling kayfabe relationships almost always go in cycles of friendship and animosity (rather like comics, lol!) It can't last forever, but it's really nice to write them as being able to relax together a little bit...

Eee! The Flying Graysons! A happy, healthy family with an adorable son! Nice to see, even with tragedy on the horizon. :(

I like Bruce and Dick connecting immediately. :)

The impersonal apartment set me to chuckling. Typical Bruce! When he reveals his 'true self', Clark will be flabbergasted! Or will have figured it out already. :)

Lex is a great showman! :)

Nice to see Diana, too. :)

Dick did get to grow up a lot more with his family in this AU--for legal working reasons he's got to be near adulthood now, so... Ugh, that tragedy is going to rip me apart to write, the minute I gave them speaking lines I knew I'd doomed myself.

I wanted to make sure to get that nod to Diana in there, although she doesn't get a lot of screen time until later! :)

Heh, the Graysons do that to people! They're so awesome that it hurts just a bit more when you see them go.

The Boy Hostage is perfect, LOL!

I look forward to seeing more Diana. OMIGOSH! Did you see scans from Smallville #56? Check this out about her first meeting with Steve!

Oh, I'm almost caught up on Smallville! And now I'm really looking forward to the next installment, that is the best first meeting I've seen in a long time. *grin*

OH GOD. As this chapter began I was squeeing along with every new name drop (Lois, Johnathan Crane, Diana, Pamela, and the Alfred allusion!) and just all together squeeful.

AND THEN GRAYSONS. OH NO. OH. NO. I am not ready for this. My heart is going to be torn out into itty bitty pieces. AND PRECIOUS BABY DICK you wrote him so perfectly, you can feel how badly he's itching to get out there in the ring!

I love the detail that Guy went off to Japan, that's so perfect and I can see him having a blast there. I continue to be endlessly delighted by this story, by how wonderfully you show all the little details of the wrestling universe and apply our beloved and familiar faces to it.

I KNOW OMG. I kind of started this whole AU with them (and with Knightfall) and now that I've given them speaking lines my heart quails to continue! But I'm enjoying writing Dick, so...I kind of...have to.

Guy is doing great in Japan! We'll hear from him again in the future, too. :)

Ahahahaha I bet Bruce gets NO SLEEP WHATSOEVER tonight, too aware that Clark's in his apartment, sleeping on his couch!

FEELING SO MUCH DREAD ABOUT THE GRAYSONS. *SOB*

Of course Bruce slept like a baby, yep! He didn't feel any tension at all, not a bit! @_@

THE GRAYSONS ARE RIPPING MY HEART OUT, OMG. T_T I'm sorry in advance!
