They're more north and west than Weathertop, but...it does look a lot like it, doesn't it? There are a lot of early Third Age ruins dotting the west...

I'm delighted Bilbo and his umbrella worked for you! I could see it so clearly, it's that combination of brave and silly that makes hobbits so endearing...

The spun sugar animals are, alas, not much longer for this world! He's going to hold on to his lemon drops a bit longer, though... :)

It's been so much fun to interweave things with the canon--it ties in more closer to the end, but for now I'm enjoying the little touches...

I'm having so much fun writing this--I've got folders full of maps and timelines and flora/fauna details and it's just hitting me all the right ways. :)
