Oh, this is lovely! Ori would be worrying about getting all the words perfectly right.

Ori is such a sweetie, I hadn't noticed his book in the first viewing but he carries it with him through his adventures, and I like to imagine him filling it with sketches and reflections...

Someday he’d find the perfect words.
Someday he’d write his masterpiece.
He for sure will. :)

I liked Orin's thoughts about his writing. Beautifully written. :) Thank you for sharing it. :)

Oh, and - I LOVE your icon! :D

*pats Ori* He will get it right someday!

*Sniffles a little*

I've only found a few Hobbity icons, but they're very good ones!

ORI!!!!!! Oh, Ori... *wibbles massively*

Someday, he thought wistfully, lying down on the veranda and gazing up at the sky. Someday he’d find the perfect words.

Someday he’d write his masterpiece.

*sobs* ORI!!!!!!! Ori, no... *whimpers*

Ahhh, I just want to hug Ori so much! WHY DID THEY MAKE HIM SO ADORABLE?!?!?!?

Thank you for writing and sharing this, Jen, even though it is extremely hurty! *sniffles*

It's so mean that they made all the most likeable members of the company the ones that we know will die! Whyyy?

But...but he DOES write his masterpiece eventually, that's...some comfort? His writing gives me chills every time.

Such an emotional experience, adrenaline coursing through him, with fear and elation at their escape making him almost giddy...then later trying to make sense of it, to shape the experience in words that will convey even a little of the magnitude of the event. This is a poignant little scene. thanks for sharing.

I do love the idea that Ori is a writer...and he has so much to try and write about. :) Can he capture the Majesty that is Thorin Oakenshield in words? A challenge we all face... :)
