So true! :)
It's a really nice scene--I like Clark's faith in Bruce's strength, even when Bruce isn't sure what he would have done, and Bruce's sideways acknowledgement that Clark has come to understand him well.
The scene was great, And so agree with your words about the understanding. I really liked both the scenes and the dialogue - in the cave and in the Crime Alley (Oh and seeing that panel, I couldn't help but make a new avi :D).
I have to say, I'm impressed how excellently Brian Q. Miller writes Bruce (and Barbara) in Smallville, considering we actually never were allowed to see Bruce on the show. But his arrival in Smallville and all the scenes with Clark - it all looks so naturally and it’s a pleasure to read about it. :)
Thaks for sharing those scans. :)

Wasn't Clark sharing his name just perfect? It's unusual because he figures out Bruce's identity first--I assume that's because it's a Superman title. :) But I think it works out so well and shows how much he's come to trust Bruce!
And I agree, it fits into Smallville so well--just different enough from canon in the best ways!
