Batman:  Odyssey:  Written and Penciled by NEAL ADAMS

When last we left hairy, sexy, extremely intense Bruce Wayne, he was locked in conversation with an unknown interviewer while shirtless.  Sadly, when #10 opened, Bruce had put a shirt on.  Boo!  However, considering it's a Green Lantern t-shirt, the results are hilarious.

Bruce explains his totally insane adventures at the center of the earth, where he fights gnomes, trolls, and dinosaur-men, sometimes while flying on giant bats.  It's...um, well, it has to be seen to be believed.  But here we're just focusing on Bruce's long-winded explanation while locking eyes in a Very Meaningful Look with whoever this is.

Bruce offers his interlocutor some acerola:

Then Dick wanders by and addresses Mystery Man in terms that leave really only one possibility:

So...my God, it really is Clark?  After a full year of reading this totally loopy title, at last, I AM VINDICATED!

I'm not sure when he changed from the Green Lantern t-shirt to a dress shirt.  Maybe after the make-out session? :P

Once it's clear who it is, Clark starts to interrupt Bruce's monologue and make it more of an actual conversation:

Gahhh, they're teasing each other.  :O

Based on relative positions, it seems likely Bruce is reaching out to brush Clark's cheek there.  :P  "They carried man's weakness...unlike you, my stalwart hero of justice!"

Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that the Egyptian gods have shown up as well?  No big deal, just toss them on the pile with the gnomes, trolls, dinosaurs and wizards.

FINALLY, in the last issue, the camera pulls back and we see Clark at last!

The story eventually wraps up in a welter of nuttiness, and we find out that Clark shows up at the cave all the time to transcribe Bruce's latest adventures, keeping them archived safe somewhere for the future...which is frankly more adorable than all the half-naked banana-eating in my book.

OMG, "Aren't you going to do that thing?  That swoosh thing?"  Is so amazingly fanboyish my heart may just explode, lol.

Also, Clark wearing a hat with the same name as the series author:  a final touch of amazing weirdness.

I note, by the way, that this panel is the very next panel in the book, with no time elapsed.  I'm not sure when Clark changed into Superman, but at this point it's far from the most bizarre thing about this book.

SWOOOSH!

._.

O_O

I have no words for how much I loved this ending, lol.
