Stormwatch 3 was sadly lacking in Apollo/Midnighter interaction, but we do find out Apollo's real first name (which is very odd, he just never has struck me as a character who needs a "real" first name, his name is Apollo).
I admit, Apollo calling himself Andrew surprised me too. I was like: "What? His name is Andrew? WOW!" :D
And I was looking forward to Apollo/Midnighter interaction, so I was sad for lack of it. *sigh*

Huh, I obviously prefer to go for the Gotham femme fatale look instead rather than the (IMHO) more obvious demonic look. And Metropolis as a sexy meter maid makes some sense in a clean-law-and-order sort of way, but it's probably not where I would have gone.

Oh well... I think that was a good question! And I’m curious - will Adam One be still the leader in the future. And if he is, will he change?

Somehow I just love Ystin's belly-laugh there. I'm also deeply in love with Ex's dragon-armor.
The Ex’s dragon-armor looks great! Though, I liked how they both (Ystin and Ex) were drawn in these scans. The art was pretty!

Sadly, the conversation is broken up by the lead villain letting them know they caught the girl and are chopping her head off, which they do.
Oh no! That was really brutal! Poor girl!

I know, I'll just have to hope twice as hard for it next month! Fighting side by side would be a good first date for them... :)

I don't know! It's traditionally with a team like this to have one or two members who have been created in order to kill off, to show How Serious Things Are. The three new characters are the Projectionist, Eminence of Blades, and Adam One...of the three, the Projectionist has the least-defined personality or connections to other characters, so I'm betting on her. :/ I suspect Adam One is more competent than he seems and once Apollo and Midnighter realize this he (along with J'onn) will form a bloc that supports him, but I wouldn't mind so much if Engineer did oust him!

I know...I saw it coming so I braced myself, but it was still really upsetting. Anyone who has big issues with children dying in fiction probably needs to skip this book for their own mental health...even I find it rough going sometimes.

I'll be flying out in about 8 hours! I still haven't found any time to read, darn it, but I hope to on the plane! It's been a good conference, but I'll be glad to get home...
