DC Relaunch Update: Super-Family and Other News

One more quick update and then I promise I'll get back to writing fic!  Though actually I've gotten about half of my double-drabbles done, and still have eight (eight!) stories from the World's Finest birthday party that I want to post.  I've decided I'll start going back and forth between them, alternating between an S/B story and a non-S/B story

I was really excited to hear that Apollo and Midnighter would be back and working with MM, though has it been confirmed if they are still married? I heard that it was said they will still be gay.

I guess it hasn't been said they're definitely married, but I'm betting Cornell will write them so. If we got to see a ceremony, by the way, I would weep tears of joy--of course, they probably don't have real names, that might make it difficult. :P

I'm also really sad about Superman/Batman ending, but at least it will save me some money and space on my shelves. *trying to think positive*

Yeahhhhhhh? That's a silver lining of sorts? Well, to be honest if some things are kind of rebooted I do look forward to seeing some new "firsts" with Clark and Bruce. I can't figure out how the timing on a lot of this stuff is working (Dick has been Robin/Nightwing/Batman/Nightwing, I CANNOT parse how that goes with the constant assertion that these are "younger and more inexperienced heroes."), but I'm trying not to give myself a migraine over it. I am beginning to suspect DC has some unexpected twists in store for how to manage all this, and it's really hard to sit tight and wait three months for it...

Yeah, this is true. Since all people are doing is really speculating now, but I'm sure a long the way we'll see plenty of leaks. Though, it might just all be rumors until we see hard proof. But yeah, the waiting will not be fun and it might be a year or more before they actually establish anything! -_-

When it dawned on me that we probably won't get any sure answers in September, even, my soul just kind of gave out from the stress and I threw up my hands and said "So be it! I'm not going to be on edge like this for seven or eight months!" So I'm just going to see what happens and write much the same things I've always been writing anyway! :)

Haha, it's true though. There is nothing to do but wait and see. It's the same with any comic or manga, even if it wasn't a reboot but a new storyline. Just got to sit back and see how it plays out. You can either enjoy it and take it as your canon or just take bits or what you want as canon(as I already do) or as you kind of said, write your own canon. ;)

True, true. And I really hope that, a year from now, we all look back on this and laugh and say: "OMG remember when we freaked out over nothing?"
