"You may remember I have always insisted that there was no evidence whatsoever connecting Batman to those crimes. It was dark and events unfolded very quickly. I wouldn't feel comfortable saying exactly what happened." - Oh, Jim Gordon~. ♥ Master of the vague, neutral statement~!
"Clark Kent, Metropolis Daily Planet. I was wondering, sir...are your children all right?"
Jim blinked, then said, "They're doing well, thank you for asking." Kent broke into a smile so radiant that Jim found himself smiling back. - CLARK, YOU GIGANTIC SWEETHEART!! ♥ ♥
I love love LOVE Brucie calling up Lucius and blathering on over speakerphone like a moron, and his double entendres when it came to Harley, and ohmigod there was so much giggling!
And then him and Alfred and Clark in the bedroom, Bruce being IMPOSSIBLY ANNOYING as a patient (I'VE BEEN JUST SITTING HER DOING NOTHING FOR THIRTEEN AND A HALF HOURS, HOW WILL I LIVE?!) and also being adorable and flirty. And Kryptonian, eee! ^_^
And: "I don't sulk," stated Bruce. "I express moderated disapproval."
He sulks, Alfred mouthed at Clark, and exited with a wink. - I love this! As much as I adore comics!Alfred and all of his dignified, straight-faced, wry, dry humor, Caine is so much fun with his cheekiness and snark.
AND THE BATSIGNAL! :DDDDDDDDD
AND THAT'S ALL THE TIME I HAVE, ASDFJKL;GHFDS THIS WAS AWESOME. *runs off*

I love Clark being all polite at press conferences! (I also love him really hounding someone when they deserve it, lol!)

That was so much fun to write! My beta and I just had fun throwing out crazy lines for an hour and then I picked the best. :)

He's super-fun to write, but I always have to go back and add more cheek, lol!
I'm really glad you liked it, thanks for grabbing the time to tell me so on a tight schedule! :)
