A lots happened in the past couple days.
Jen's home. I got a Facebook message from her on Thrusday letting me know she'd be home on Saturday. Now I have a roommate full time. Wooh. I like the company, don't get me wrong, but I was still anticipating having another month to myself.
Jen's husband's contract at the school wasn't renewed, which is why Jen's come home early. Mike (Jen's husband, not my brother) is either going to be home in two more weeks or a month and a half, depending whether or not a job he's applied for pans out. There's still some stuff going on, but it looks like they're both going to be staying. The roommates thing won't just be temporary over summer and winter holidays.
I'm on my vacation right now, at my parents. I needed to do some laundry and I wanted to see mom and dad. I'm going back home tomorrow, probably after dinner. I have to visit nan in the morning. Yesterday I had my car etested, today I got the new sticker for the plates. Worst Birthday present ever, let me tell you, but at least it's been taken care of. We went into town, too. Mom and I went to the mall and Walmart while Liz and Kara were having tattoos done. It's nice hanging out with mom, even if I ended up getting sidetracked by a lady from work and the sister of a friend of mine. At least I kept busy, right?
I dunno what I'm doing for my birthday anymore. I had intended on inviting a couple friends over this weekend for a movie night, but I don't expect that's gonna happen now. Oh well. I'll figure something out.
