they are getting clever.
last night i went out to the bar with 2 of my guys and it was karaoke night!!! it was too funny.
some guy starts talking to me. ok, i have no interest but he reminds me of someone. we keep talking, it's a social environment, we're just being socal, no big. then... his room mate comes up and starts talking with us. they were getting weird and the guys resuced me so i'm free again. untilll.... later in the night the room mate starts chatting with me while i'm getting a drink. great.... long story short..
him: "so i think i have to get your number."
me: "really?"
him: "yes. so can i have your number?"
me: "um, sure.."
i gave him my old number. i felt bad saying no to his face while we're talking b/c i feel like that would just be a massively low blow. and i figured i wouldn't see him again no big deal. now this is how they are getting clever...
after i give him the old number, what does he say?
him: "well i'm going to go ahead and call it right now."
oh shit.. caught out.
he called it and it went to "this is not a working number" and so being slightly drunker than planned, and affraid of hurting his feelings, i'm playing it off nicely but then finaly i'm just like, let me see that, did you get the numbers right? so i switch the number to my real number. crap. some weirdo has my number.
but the night was totally amazing!!!!
