Dear Lovely People on my FL,
I've been very very busy. Which is no excuse because any one of you are also insanely busy and still manage to post and keep people apprised of your comings and goings. I guess it's just a reason, not an excuse, then!
I've put the band writing group back together.
I've been going to the gym more often.
I've been painting, cooking, reading, looking at the internet.
And gardening. I planted some alyssum in the square on the back patio that is FINALLY coming up. My mint is bursting forth with glorious life, and my rosemary is just sending out a few wee sprouts, but I think the basil is just not going to make it. Stupid house arrangement with only a few well-lit windows inconveniently located for indoor plants.
I went to the Gynecologist last Thursday and paid out of pocket since my insurance doesn't start until June. I had a clean bill of health, and another year's prescription of birth control pills. Whee.
Today we went to the Asian grocer, the Winter Park Farmer's Market, and I went to the Florida mall to replace the jeans that had begun falling apart last week. I had a horrible time, because I hate the mall and because I hate trying on clothes. I wish I had enough hours in the day to pursue all my interests AND make my own clothes, I just hate going places and subjecting myself to the indignity of trying to find something I'll like amid the hideous hideous clothing that people seem to be wearing nowadays.
We got Nathan some Five Fingers yesterday, in all black. His feet look like cybernetic gorilla feet. It's very cute.
Nothing of worth or substance to report, just that the business of day to day life is wearing me out!
