Wishing you a Happy New Year!

I know I have been neglecting my journal again. I have really no excuse except I'm lazy to post stuff these days.

However, every year, without fail, I've done a New Year's post and I don't want to break that tradition. I've meet many great friends on Livejournal and I feel it deserves a little love and attention.

So I give you, my 2008 in a nutshell.

• Got a new job, which I was very excited and happy about. Almost a year later and I'm still excited and happy about it. Don't get me wrong, I'm also stressed out but as someone told me, "If it ain't stressful, it ain't a job, honey!".
• Met lots of new and interesting people this year. Some friendships fell apart (distance, issues, etc) but new ones blossomed. That's life. When one door closes, another opens.
• Had a chance to travel to many places. I went to Langkawi, Macau, Singapore, Spain and London. I'm very thankful for the opportunity to do so, and the great people I went with and met.
• Remembered that some things are more important than others. Life is what you make of it. Nothing's perfect, nothing's easy but the challenges makes it all worth while.
• It hasn't all been a bed of roses. There's been times where I felt like giving up because something's too hard or I felt that I wasn't good enough. But with the support of my family and friends, I persevered on. I can honestly say I wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't because of them. So thank you!

I'm hoping for a good 2009. I don't usually do New Year Resolutions. I have always believed that you should live your life, one day at a time. So I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you...
