Bitching...
Yeah, the title pretty much says it all.
Let's see, where to start. How about with the roommate. You know, I pretty much get along just fine with my roommate. She does her thing, I do my thing, and sometimes we do things together. It's generally pretty peachy.
Well, she's been planning this trip to Kansas to visit her mom, who she hasn't seen in more than a year. So, last Wednesday I come home from class to find her on the phone. And I get on my computer, as per norm, and start checking my email. And everything is fine and dandy. At least that's until she gets off the phone and announces that her mother is leaving her husband and wants to move back into the area. However, her mother doesn't have a place to live or a job, and wants to stay with us for about 2-3 weeks! Her mother wants to stay with use in our ONE bedroom apartment. Our apartment is hardly big enough for the two of use, there's no way in hell that it's big enough for there. Then the roommate tells me that she told her mom that was fine, but she'd have to check with me first.
My first thought is FUCK no. But it's the girls mother, and it will only be for two weeks, plus my roommate pretty much already told her it was ok. And the two were making plans to get U-Haul vans before she even got off the phone. So, pretty much the decision was made without me. Now, that didn't piss me off as much as what comes next. She then informs me that it will only be for a few weeks, until SHE AND HER MOM can find a new place. SHE'S MOVING OUT!!! And NOT coming back next year!! Do you know how many times I asked her if she was coming BACK next year, so that way I could start looking for another roommate?? I nagged her about it for MONTHS!! And now she informs me that she's not coming back!
I already knew someone who wanted to room with me, but she had to find someplace else because the current roommate said she was staying!!! So, I told her. I said, "I'm not getting stuck paying $600 a month next semester because of this. If I don't find another roommate then you have to pay your half of the rent because you'd said you be here." Which of course she was none to happy about but conceded to anyway. But FUCK! I don't think I'm being unreasonable!
But it doesn't end there! I got the electric bill in the mail on Saturday, which she was supposed to pay last month. And found out that it wasn't paid! Now we have a FUCKING $100 electric bill sitting in our apartment that I don't have the money for! And you can bet she's going to hear about this when she gets back from fucking Kansas! She's going to hear a lot of shit, because it's fucking hit the fan!
I was going to bitch as well about the Oscar's, but it just seems too petty right now. It just pisses me off that LOTR won EVERYTHING! Yes there were great films! And yes I loved them to death! But there were other great movies this year. And I was kind of pissed that Sea Biscuit didn't win anything!
And you know else sucks ass why I'm on it. I have 3 exams this week, 2 papers, and a lab report due.
God I can't FUCKING wait for spring break!
