Christmas and such
My Grandma had sugery two weeks ago to remove a cancerous tumor in her lung. It entailed removing one whole rib and part of her right lung. So my mom went to Corvallis to take care of her and help speed up the recovery. Then, on the 18th, I went over to Monmouth to visit my girfriend (she broke up with me while I was there). Then, since my grandma was doing so well, she told my mom that we could go home for Christmas. So, Mom and I drove home on Christmas Eve and spend Christmas day with Dad and Ashley.
So last night at dinner, my uncle calls and tells Mom that my grandma isn't doing well at all. I guess she'd been going at it like gangbusters, had overdone things, and was in need of further care. So, my mom went back to Corvallis this morning.
Now, it's just me, Dad, and Ashley holding down the fort. This has been a seriously fucked-up Christmas. I honestly can't say it's been my favorite.
