Making up for lost time

A very good, wise friend of mine pointed out that my journals have not necessarily been very "chipper" lately. I want to make one thing absolutely clear to the entirety of the world: I am just about happier than I have ever been. My good days are very good, and my bad days are really not that bad. Relationship trouble tends to seem a lot worse than it really is, especially when you have your heart ingrained in what your other half is feeling. But when your other half is as committed as you are...man, oh, man...There's no feeling quite like it in the world.

I'm headed back to Bend today o'er snowy road and curving byway. Farewell Willamette Valley, wet chilly cold, and Western Oregon University. It's back home to snowy mountains, old friends, and CHRISTMAS!
