first install the program.
when installed it should appear in your start-up menu
if this is your first time using soramimi there will be no files in your program to play
the program itself will not work yet and there will be no folders in your "songs" folder
to get started go to the "songs" folder and add a folder with the name of the artist you want to work on
then inside that artists folder make another folder with the song titel that you want to work on
then add the MP3 and the lyrics in a .txt file to that folder. (please write everything in romaji)
it would then look kinda like this;
now go back in your start-up menu and open the "Tools" part of the program
now the soramimi program you'll make your karaoke songs in will open
yusha.. now let's get started!
open your project in the 'Projects tab'
the text you had in your .txt file will now appear several places in your workplace
make sure your text is separated where you think it sounds allright and there are natural pauses in the song
and then you need to start to add time codes to the songs, this is how you do it!
first add underscores with this option;
and then you want the underscored version in the other window again
how you need to start your music in this tab
put the speed down when you start working on the file or it'll be sung too quickly
the big blue screen will change when you change the text in the other window,
but it's this blue screen that you'll now use to add your timecodes to the file!! :DDD
if you are on the blue screen and the music file is running,
you'll create a timecode everytime you press the SPACE bottom.
don't be scared or placing many, you can always easily move around on the screen
with your arrows and delete timecodes again
if you are now finished you want the underscores to go away again you simply click this
and then you save your newly created karaoke sub! :DD
and open the soramimi program instead of the tools program
write what song you want and click enter (me has sexy eito background n it 8DD)
and the song should begin to play ^____^
(and totoro is my default if I have no picture in my music folder)
please ask away if I forgot something >__<
this program doesn't belong to me, I simply tried to make a quick tut on how to use it!
