Anyway, I'm sure your friend wouldn't be with a jerk, so he'd be patient even if he kind of wanted to do more. I'm sure they can find ways to keep themselves entertained until the one is ready for more.

I don't think there's a set time for when you go further. Some people wait until they're engaged or married and some people do on their first date and some don't do relationships at all, so.... Just saying. Tell your friend to do whatever feels right and don't worry about anyone else. I'm sure her boyfriend is a good guy.
