Fourier transform

Things are lightening up, it seems, but now I'm sick! Boo. My throat is sore and I've been coughing a lot. I must annoy all the people in the lab.

I've been hanging around Steward all the time lately. I spend more time there than my room or outside, or probably anything else combined. It would be so convenient if I just roomed there. It's pretty broken down, but it's comfortable and inviting.

I think I'm one of "the regulars" now. Haha. The seniors that hang out there are really funny, and it's nice to have people to talk to.

The best part is actually feeling connected to the department now. I'm starting to carve out my own little place there. Working with Dr. Miller on the telescope software and Dr. Green on the subdwarf B stars observations has really helped me get excited about doing Astronomy.

Plus, I just got an $1000 unrestricted cash award from the Astronomy Department.

Yeah, I'm definitely glad I didn't drop Astronomy.
