(no subject)
All settled into the humble abode! I know I was dreading coming back to campus, but it's actually been really great so far. My room is very big for a single, and it has a nice high ceiling. I have a lovely view of the parking lot, but it's a sunny window and there's a breeze coming in, so no complaints here. I really love putting things together the way I want them, everything in its right place (and now Radiohead will be stuck in my head for 4 hours). I'm most excited about getting the rocking chair from home. It's immense and comfortable and it's going right in the corner by the window as soon as Mom stains it and I figure out how to cram it into my car.
Hahaha, la mother told el father to write me a welcoming message on the whiteboard on my door while we were moving me in, so he drew this ridiculous "mule" that says "Go Mouls" (intentionally mispelled) on it, with "By Rachel Watson" underneath. I'll take a picture as soon as I find my camera battery charger. It's... I can't even look at it anymore because I keep laughing and people walking by think I'm crazy.
I've seen quite a few people I know. Only a few good friends because most of them aren't here yet. I'm going to go rearrange for another hour and then go for a motorcycle ride!
