So, I've decided to update. I guess I should.
As many of you might have heard, there was a mass shooting in Binghamton last Friday. It has been in many of the papers, I know that it's definitely been in Newsday every single day since Saturday. It has taken me a while, but it's finally really hitting me and i'm freaked out about it to say the least.
My Grandpa had a stroke in January. It has severely affect his perception on life, and he is stuck in a constant state of dementia. He has been put into a facility where he will be cared for until the end of his days. My family is completely different now because of this. No one buys food, everyone works, my Grandma is on everyone's coattails, bugging every person that walks through my front door. Needless to say, It's irritating to be home.
I'm one step closer to graduation. I'm doing a summer research project and it has been picked up by a professor in my department. I'm really excited about this, especially since I haven't done anything like this before. My expected graduation is August 2009. I can't wait to be done.
Thats the major events in my life at the moment. Maybe i'll update in six months.
