James F. Avery AVERY, James F., born April 18, 1924, passed away in Tampa after a brief illness October 22, 2008, at the age of 84. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Naomi "Pete" Avery. Jim is survived by his three sons, Mark (Sue), Terry (Hilda) and Craig (Darlene), and sister, Ida Fay of Illinois. Jim was the proud grandfather of six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He will always be remembered by friends and family members as a loving, caring and thoughtful person. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Tampa Inc.
