Iron Man! (again!)
Changing my hair (again!) for...
Job interview tomorrow at wonderland for a tech job.
I hate my new hair. It is boring as fuck. Hence, no pictures.
I'm getting back onto a reading kick. The passion I used to have for all russian and/or existentialist literature is now being redirected towards early 20th century literature, generally American, though right now I'm in love with James Joyce (Irish). However, I've decided that American literature has far more to offer than just Kerouac: Thomas Wolfe, Ezra Pound, Henry David Thoreau, John Steinbeck... I'm even willing to give Hemingway another try.
This coincides with a more general interest in the 20th Century artistically and philosophically, an interest probably spurred on by my Dramaturgy classes (reading Eugine O'Neill, Harold Pinter and Tristan Tzara will do that...). SO: dadaism, expressionism, cubism, existentialism (of course) and, in a more general sense, the gradual disintegration of "The American Dream" (so American 1900-1960ish).
Also, I'm going to have to amend my original goal of "read 50 books in 2008" since it is no long plausible. I will over zealously restate it as "read 40 books in 2008" which is still pretty unreachable considering it is mid-May and I have read... 1 book. ONE FRIGGIN' BOOK. thanks a lot school. I hit 40 last year (though that included plays which I am now counting separately).
