Day One
I kept a journal while I was in Costa Rica. ^_^
Monday, January 1/07 - day 1
The train left (on time) at 1:30pm from North Bay. I said good-bye and settled in for a long ride. It was pretty quiet and I got a seat by the window, yay! I've come to the conclusion that you should plan exactly what you want to buy from the dinning car before getting up so that you don't have to make 5 trips in the rocking, bumpy cars where the people stare at you everytime you go by... creepy.
Anyway, I arrived in Toronto at 6:30pm (on time!) and met up with Scott, Nick (his brother) and Amy (Nick's fiancée). Then we walked 4 blocks to the car doging people trying to sell us hockey tickets on one corner and people trying to buy tickets off of us on the next. (Real organized guys...)
We spent the night at Scott's Aunt and Uncle's. I got the tour of the house. His uncle is a photographer and built his own dark room and workshop, it was really cool.
We went to bed pretty early though, at around 9:00pm, because tomorow was an early start!
