Hello, this is Narf Girl from the planet of Blah speaking.

Yesterday I went to the veiwing of the 'grandma of the neighborhood,' Florence Reiter. She was one I always liked to visit because she told me stories of her family and her opinions of some current events along with the fact that she and her husband, Frank favored me a lot because I came to say hello almost every single day while I was a pre-teen (age 6-12). Of course they always gave candy to us neighborhood kids. Especially at halloween with their funny ghost/lamp-post and musical door mat. They were out of the neighborhood since last year I believe. I miss seeing them around. I was glad to see Frank at her veiwing. I gave him a big hug. He always had the nickname 'tiger' for me everytime I would show up. Lyon-Tiger. Yes, that is the association with my last name. I was a little bit frightened at first to go to her veiwing, but I felt that I needed to go. I really wanted to go. That was the first veiwing that I remember being at. I wonder when her funeral will be. I want to know more about her, hearing from her family. That would be nice.

Last Friday I started up my job that I had back in May before summber vacation started. It is a job that those non-patient people would not like. Entering data into databases, printing brochures, preparing materials to send out to people, that sort of thing. I only work a couple of hours a day on the days that I go in. It's a fun job for me. I get to organize things and use a computer. ^____^ Wheeee. I also applied for Barnes and Noble. I really hope I can work there. I think it would be fun. Eva thinks it is right? XD I am looking forward to learning new skills that I haven't had exposure to. Like working a cash register etc... Hmmm...that will be interesting.

I've learned some more Japanese. Not as much as Jeff. He's the master at Japanese. My class started learning katakana today. I will finally be able to, maybe not understand yet, but read some Ghibli CDs and DVDs that I have!! XD Then there is Kanji...which I won't learn until I take the next semester class. Argh. Well, that is to be expected.

Other news, I'm doing ok. I need to see some people. Or just hear their voice. T_T I miss you people... You people that probably won't read this, and some who will. You know who you are!

I am going to get a turtle. Sometime soon. Don't know when yet, but soon. Name suggestions? I was thinking of a Japanese name. That would be cute. It's the only pet that my dad isn't alergic to, for now. T_T I've wanted a cute pet to take care of since I was 12. (Not including the inherited 'Fishy' Guppy that I got from my brother when he moved out.) I'm sad. This reminds me of the black kitty that was across the street in front of my house the week before Danielle went to school. It was so cute!!!! I wanted to keep it, but my dad is alergic. I'm sad.

Well, じゃあ また。

P.S.
Mowing the lawn at night is interesting.
