A birthday party.
Thursday April 5
Party-ish (7:30? There will be enough food to make a dinner out of)
Vino Vixens (the incredibly well-conceived wine shop and bar with the perhaps-not-as-well-conceived name and location)

Bring Food! I will take care of the food "corkage" fee for us all - VV will provide dishes and such. I will bring an entree or two (no plan yet, but expect something pasta-ish and some roast veg?)
Be prepared to buy and drink wine (VV does this by selling wine by the bottle at retail then adding a corkage fee. The fee is like $5 and on the whole it is a good deal for bar-bound wining. Corkage for wine from outside is higher.)
Dress code: semiformal / dress like you are old
