I am running Ubuntu on my new pretty vaio lappy.

Only not right now because I can't get VPN working on anything but Windows.

Ubuntu is really nice. All the baseline stuff that I've felt fairly self-righteous for insisting upon is finally there out of the box.

It still feels a little weird and sequestered to be logged into a Linux environment, though.
