So these are my permanent team members so far, Richard and Shelly. I can tell already that Richard's Attack stat makes him hit like a twig... and he only learned his first special-based attack at, like, level 16. FUN TIMES TRYING TO GET HIM TO KILL THINGS. Shelly, on the other hand, is damn good for something you get in Route 1, is apparently the Loyal Dog Pokémon and I taught him an attack that hits twice as hard if one of your teammates was KO'd in the previous turn. Against all reason, I am never ever ever evolving him. :3
I also have a female Blitzle named Zappa in my team, but I dunno if I'm keeping her around. She's got nice moves, but defence-wise, she's made out of paper.
I'm still trying to decide on the rest of my team, though, and it'd be nice to keep up the AA theme naming... One guy I'm definitely getting is this, but those sunglasses-like markings only remind me of Lang and LANG IS NOT A CROCODILE, DAMMIT. Another one I MUST have is this motherfucker. Look at it. Look at it.
As for the rest, I just can't decide. There's so many awesome Pokémon this gen! I've had my eyes on this turtle thing for a while, but then there's also a freaking ghost chandelier. Then I noticed this thing and now I want one too. Even if I drop Blitzle, that makes... seven Pokémon total.
